comfortable couch potatoing

Different positions, kind of couch, type of tv program, plus my favorite snack to munch. These are just the factors for a comfortable day of a couch potato. Although the only necessary thing here is the couch, of course. But you can make it more comfortable with those mentioned above.

First, you need to choose a couch that is fit for your comfort. You have to consider the size, one that is long enough to accommodate your entire body while in a horizontal position and wide enough for you not to fall off. Secondly, it should of course be soft for real comfort. Wide sofa arms should be considered as well. There are types which can be used as a headrest or footrest.
The television set may not be that essential for a couch potato, but it can keep us busy. Choose carefully the tv programs you’re watching. Not the suspense or police dramas for it might awaken even the most dedicated snoozer.

Other accessories are also helpful for an ultimate couch potato comfort. Little sofa pillows could be helpful for the neck. Small coverlets are perfect for those chills. Those which can be thrown across the arm of your couch and can be quickly grabbed to cover when the urge to nap hits. Just remember not to use actual bed accessories such as bed pillows for it might divert our intention.

Snacks are not that essential also. But you can do a little while letting yourself fall to drowsiness.

You may wonder why have a hard time in the couch when you can go directly to bed? Well, we have really no intention of sleeping here (or we think hard not to intend to sleep) but just having a nice comfortable time at home. Plus the fact that it’s not yet time to go to bed.
