Avoid Procrastination
Calling all couch potatoes. Beware of procrastinating. We are prone to this. We might not notice it sometimes but we are already doing it. Like setting aside some household chores because it is time for our favorite tv program. If we are watching out for this program, we must manage our time wisely. We must plan our schedule beforehand. Like doing our tasks before the program starts, those that can be done within that time frame.
One of the hurtful consequences of procrastination is losing an opportunity. We will later regret that we did it and just say “if only. . .” which is really disappointing. I have experienced this before while I was lining up at a counter at the fastfood. I already had my order served to me. Then I forgot to order for an extra rice. I decided to buy after I finished eating my first cup of rice. So when I had no rice left, I decided to order for another cup. But the there were many customers already and I would lose my appetite if I wait longer. So I didn’t buy for an extra rice anymore.
It would make us feel good if we finish our duties first before we go couch potatoing. It feels good to just relax without having to worry about our pending tasks.
