Couch Potato because of TV?

I have posted here before that television is not to blame for children’s obesity.  But is it possible that the television is the primary factor that a person becomes a couch potato?  Well, yes it is possible.  The television programs that holds a person in place with the couch; the tv series that makes him take for granted the tasks that he should have done and make it a point to sit at that time slot just to watch it no matter what should he must have been doing.

To avoid this, maybe its about time that you stop watching television, or you may want to cut your cable so that you won’t be tempted to get stuck on the couch.  Its not that I am discouraging you to become a couch potato.  But rather, I am only telling you that you must be responsible enough to finish your tasks before you stay and feel comfortable on the couch watching television.

If you are worried about the tv programs that you may miss, you’ve got alternatives for this.  Its either you finish your tasks before the program starts or you record the program so that you can view it after you have finished doing your tasks.  I have posted here also about tv recording.  You may want to read it hereBeing a couch potato doesn’t just mean having a comfortable time in life but must also mean being responsible.
